The Vineyard Church of Waterville is closing!

May 18, 2008 will be the last Sunday for the Vineyard Church of Waterville.

We've had a great 3 1/2 years here. We've individually served more than 5,000 people with simple acts of kindness, practical ways of showing God's love. We've found tremendous favor with the community.

But the church hasn't grown beyond more than 25 or so people on a Sunday. And half of those people are under age 9.

So we're closing this church. To find out more about our thought process, go to: http://marcpitman.com/2008/04/27/closing-the-vineyard-church-of-waterville/

We think Waterville is an incredible place. And we think our non-judgemental theology balanced with very tangible actions showing God's love is needed more than ever. So we are planning on launching a new church plant in 2009.

In 2007, we touched 2,379 people with practical acts of kindness. Wondering why? Click here to find out!

Were you of the 300 people that got a free hot chocolate?

Or one one of the 240 people that got "kissed"?

Or one of the more than 200 people that got a box of peeps?
You're Invited To Easter!

Or one of the folks that got a car wash and a penny?

Or someone who's trash got picked up by us at the park?

Or did you get a free packet of flowers?

We're committed to showing God's love in practical (and often quirky) ways.
